There are frequent (several a month) directives from the California Department of Developmental Services governing both operating requirements and special funding.  We track these and will inform you if one is especially constructive or terrifying. If you like to follow the action at home, they all wind up here.  Although we don’t believe it will apply to Imagine, if you rely on a day program, including ILS and supported employment, you may want to pay attention to this directive, released yesterday which will affect the sustainability and services available through non-residential programs.

As always, we rely for policy updates on Marty Omoto and CDCAN.  You can write to him to subscribe to his frequent updates. They won’t set you back a penny, but donations are always gratefully received and twice earned.
